State health officials say the best way to prepare for flu season is to get a flu shot. “There is an ample supply of flu vaccine available this year so we encourage everyone to break the habit of skipping their immunization due to shortages and get vaccinated,” says Steve Scott, president of the American Lung Association of Florida.
